Gonna order one of the new Sparks emblems tomorrow. I have a cgm, do y'all think an emblem with chrome outline and cgm center would look good? Also do I need to remove the whole fascia again to install?

I like the look of flat black matched with cgm, so I bought the flat black with gloss black combo, but If I would of known he does custom colors, I would of got a flat black/cgm color combo.

Ten isn't bad at all... It'll bring some contrast off the heritage grille, unless you've got it painted.

And I just removed that metal plate that's in front of the radiator, four bolts I think, and some fasteners.

Thanks for the info Cyber. The center of the grille is black. Not sure if the cgm will stand out at all.

I really don't think you'll even notice the CGM.. but hey for $10 why not? yours will be a little diffenrent.I went with the Gloss and Matte Black on my CGM and love the look.

As far as the install goes, Terry at Sparks did a great job making sure the mount was secure. I wouldn't want someone to be able to just unclip my new SS emblem! The front emblem almost self-aligns to keep it straight, there's a strap (nicely painted/powder coated?) that attaches to the back with two screws. The screws use an allen head so no fumbeling with a screw driver. The design kind of "sandwiches" the grill in-between the the backing plate and the emblem.

Install was not real bad. I chose to install this without removing the front bumper cover. I used the openning where the hood latch is to get one hand behind the grill. Those of you with Gorilla-size hands are going to have to have someone else do this for you. It is a little difficult to line everything up, but way quicker than pulling the front bumper cover.

I know there's going to be the "I want it bigger/smaller" people but I love it.

Taylor,

Did you install the vinyl trunk black out or have someone do it?
Does the kit you ordered also blackout the areas around the tail lights?
Can you see any paint in the seams of the panels? For example if you look at the trunk panel at an angle can you see 'orange' within the blackout?
How much was the kit + install?

I have the little SLP black out but I would love that whole thing blacked out like yours.

Thanks.

Edit: Ok after checking out your pics I can see that the vinyl goes up to the tail light bezels and there is no paint showing. Looks killer.

There is no orange showing since it was custom done. I have to get the little strip redone on the trunk before I install the SS emblem, since they cut around the bowtie.
