Ok, so I read through this thread and saw all the comments about noise increase, but can anyone answer if this "mod" actually increases power at all?

No power. Believe someone had dynoed their car after but no measurable improvement. Deleting the primary and secondary cats would be were the gain was.

But the Borla 60606 DOES delete the secondary cats... So, it has to increase it by at least a marginal amount...

Why? B/c they charge almost $300 for it? You are paying for nice pipes, nothing more. Also keep in mind last I heard there were no gains at all from any of the catback systems. The OE system flows that well at stock power levels. Now once you go H/C or FI, there is power to be made. So if a catback doesn't give any power, why would just the aft set of cats make any?

Ok, so no power gain - but I wonder how much weight I could save by deleting the secondary cats and putting something like the MBRP catback on...?

Today, I got a p0420 code today... lol. Had the xpipe for over a year! Probably just a leak somewhere, will look at it sometime during the weekday (for a lift access). I found that if the sensor went bad, it is a different code (no idea what the code # is but apparently it's different than 0420). I did clear it but if there is a leak, it'll be back till fixed.
