Regular production has begun!!!!

From the person who, somewhere in a meeting inside GM, first mentioned that GM should bring back the Camaro, to the final person working the last station on the assembly line...............................
THANK YOU!!!!

Happy Birthday Camaro!!

"Some cars look like they're going fast when they're standing still. The Camaro looks like it's going to beat you unconscious, put you in a silly hat, invite a couple of other Camaros over to take photos of you, then e-mail them to all your friends and co-workers. Call me crazy, but I like that in a car."

Thank you Mr Oppenheiser for honoring (honouring in Canada ) us with your comments here at C5. We too have looked forward to this day for a long, long time.

I am merely one voice, representing all of the Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, and all functions in-between, but we all share the same passion for the Camaro and it's history as all of you share. Every person on the Camaro team has worked many long days and nights (literally) over the last few years to make sure that the Camaro you are about to see (and purchase ) is the best one ever, and truly a world-class quality 21st Century Sports Car. Please know that there are some of the best and talented people located in Australia at our Holden Engineering Center, as well as here in North America, who have put their hearts and souls, blood and sweat into the car. We have been lucky enough to spend significant amounts of time with the car, to ensure we get it right for you. Now, as you become the ultimate judge and juror, it is our extreme hope that you find the car equally as impressive as we do. You are going to hear some even more exciting news about the car tomorrow morning from our Senior Leadership. This is just some icing on an awesome cake for you. So, in closing, I guess there is just one thing to say....................CAMARO IS BACK! ENJOY
Thank you Al. I have been a GM car guy for 45 years. We all hope the company well in these tough times. Thanks for bringing the Camaro back. My 1 SS has been on order since October 14, 2008.

We bow with the utmost respect for the entire Camaro design and production team. Job Well Done!!!!

If I still have a job by the time our Camaro is produced I will enjoy every mile behind the wheel and in the passenger's seat.

Hey Al,

Thanks for taking a few minutes to post your thoughts here - and of course, a huge thanks to you for your tireless efforts and to everyone else on the team for their invaluable contributions in making the car and this day a reality! It's certainly been a long haul since August of 2002, but we all know the wait will be worth it!

It was a pleasure to have met you last May in Milford, as well as the other team members... and again at Indy. Your collective passion for the car was so "in our faces"!
This car is just gonna blow everybody away!

Best regardSS,

Elie
