Depends on how much power you are planning on making. I believe that the "sweet spot" is about 85% of duty cycle. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Get the tuner kit like I did. Then get injectors and fuel system on your own. Then get a real tune. Much safer.

Let's just say this little d1, with a 3.9 pulley on it is just nasty and I haven't even taken past 4500rpms. Installed zr1 injectors today and set timing at 23degrees to be safe before we finally dyno tune it tomorrow.

How much boost will the 3.9 pulley make? is the bottom end of your motor built?

Just like all canned tunes, they leave some HP on the table. I havent taken mine past 5k (waiting on fuel system install) & I am so in love with it already.

Remember, he has a 6.0 liter engine, its a small difference but it is different. On the G8 the 3.9 should make about 9- 9.5lbs. With procharger they will spec your pulley out based on your engine size and mods.

You really should be talking to the shop you are ordering from (for fueling, tuning and pulleys and stuff). Especially since they are doing the install.

Drove my procharger for 3 days then ripped my hub off my output carrier in less than 100 miles... on a built trans......

new setup should be done tomorrow.... cant wait to get it back!!!!!!!!! Procharger seems like a solid unit and feels great on the butt dyno......

Lol. I'm not at all, I'm happy you are going ProCharger. But it makes it more difficult for your installer and tuner when you have tons of Internet ideas...

Nope. Big difference in our cars. Similar platforms. Ur crank pulley is obviously different and you have more displacement. So I may be spinning my blower at different speeds then yours will spin. I should be at 9-9.5 lbs per prochargerI recommendations with the 3.9.

You can't go wrong with the procharger. I am loving every second of it.

Yes I know this, I was just curious of how much boost it was. The stock pulley for the kit is 7 or 8 lbs I believe for any car. Just curious thats all, seeing what everyone is comfortable pushing.

You might have already mentioned this, so I apologize if I missed it. What other mods do you have?

If you have Headers/Exhaust, you'll probably drop about 1 PSI just due to the increased flow, but make the same power.
