Great glad to hear it buddy. For anyone else looking for them I am out of the projectors right now (sold all the first day) but have several on the way. If anyone needs the kit just shoot me an email patrick@gmpartshouse.com and I will put you on the list since it looks like we put a strain on availability I should have a few extras comming in in the next order but want to be sure before I make promises. The only thing I do know is I have a few on the way to me just not sure of the exact number and I am told I have several more comming a few days behind them.

But you help make my point, "done correctly" to me and this is just my opinion... done correctly would be to do it with a OEM pre formed with HUD dash.

Can not believe I spent time today reading a 29 page thread. This thread was featured on the Homepage so I clicked on the link. After reading 29 pages what have I learned? Nothing!
Many people that have invested $1000's on 2010 Camaro mods, I think the HUD is worth the effort and time. I have a 2011 2LT ordered last mid May, delivered early August. When I ordered had no idea regarding HUD. Only after I ordered it was announced HUD would be availale on 2011 models (standard on a 2LT).
If HUD was an option I would not have considered when I placed my 2011 order back in May. I love it and after 3 months using my HUD I would have paid much more then the $350 dollar markup on my 2011 model. My dealer was excellent, and did not charge me for the HUD markup when I ordered my 2011 at 2010 price.
I have read threads on Camaro5 regarding "worst features" and a thread "best features". My best feature on my 2011 2LT Camaro is the HUD, an option I would have not considered paying extra for when I ordered my 2011.
Hope all of you that have a 2010 Camaro can find a way to add the HUD to your rides, at below a $500 price.
After reading a 29 page thread, I want to say thanks to 2SSRS for all his effort. However, clicking onto this link from the Camaro5 homepage, reading a 29 page thread, I was very disapointed.
2SSRS has been excellent keeping us informed regarding a HUD modifaction apparently many want. After reading this 29 page thread I am disappointed with GM for not offering a $300 HUD "KIT" that could be installed at the dealership for an additonal $300. Many of these parts GM pays 10-cents on the dollar to make, then GM ups the part price 100% or more to the consumer. Example: Last year I needed to replace a side fender script 'Riviera' on my 1998 Riviera. The script was no more complex to fabricate than a Camaro plastic fender script. My Rivera script cost me $180 from the dealer and an additional $100 to install (a little bit of plastic with a 3M adhesive).
These GM HUD parts are being over priced by GM. On this Board it was annouced months ago the 2011 HUD was going to be MSRP $350. I paid $0 for HUD on my 2011 order and bought my 2011 based on 2010 MSRP. So a 90-cent plastic script cost me $280 to install at my GM dealership.
2SSRS, I commend you on your efforts as I love my 2011 Camaro HUD and hope some day people who have invested so much time and effort in their 2010 Camaro modifications can install HUD.
After reading 29 pages of this thread: Pissed at Camaro5 for linking to this thread from the Homepage 'news' when no new info is available. Pissed at GM for over pricing the HUD parts.

From what I have seen, the price difference is around $50. Just get the HUD version.
