jamie , i,m kindas in the same boat, seems that something failed in cylinder 5, and after pulling the vlave covers, we found the rockers on the mast heads stripped out on that cylinder and now have to strip the motor down and send the heads back to mast...car was running good, or so i thought, just going thru some tweaking when we found the temps on the header tube at cyl 5 was cold...car was running strong , but threw a code awhile back and we thought we had a vacuum leak..we did not know it was leaking vacuum under the valve cover..lol

Sorry to hear that Mike. Hopefully you didn't do a bunch of damage. At least you could also sit in the back huff nitrous, and play video games!!

OK, no more talk about blowing up two motors in two months with no abuse or who did what and why...... We all pretty much know the deal.


Talked with Don tonight and we have a plan and have started moving forward. I'll make a new thread because this one is out of mofo control!!

I heard is was a 468ci twin turbo , whipple, nos setup with a th400 with gear venders overdrive, solid rear conversion and 25.3 cage?
