They just have a road course called Willow Springs.
I spent 5 years at Edwards AFB so know Rosamond well. Anyone that complains about living there doesn't get out of town much.

You have to drive to LA if you really want to get out of town. Lancaster/Palmdale is almost as bad.

True but in 1.5hrs you can be at some pretty cool places. What was the name of that cool breakfast place in Rosemond or the Mexican place on the airport runway.

I don't know of any cool places to eat in rosamond. lol

but that's my point, you have to drive far to do anything fun.

Awe man... you made me look it up. Crazy Otto's rocked for breakfast and then the Golden Cantina which was right on the runway with airplane parking. You could watch the planes land and pull up to come eat. Best Sunday brunch w/ mimosas around. But I see they are closed down now..

I have to agree with Mike some of us Oldies but Goodies can not drive long distances. If its more than 500 miles I will fly. I did enjoy the Fest in Phoenix Az. Vegas would be fun with lots to do.

Actually I can. Never got to see it person and I am hoping this year if I can't join the ranks across the dam at least I can watch from the bridge.

I personally would recomend the Pomona Area in L.A. You do have the area where the L.A County Fair happens every year. That area is well know and would generate a good attendance of drivers of Camaros and other GM Vehicles. Just imagine the 60 highway being overloaded with a long line of Camaros....

I wouldn't expect anything for a little while. The only reason we got an early announcement for C5FestV was because it was in May. C5FestIV had just wrapped up around this time last year...I wouldn't expect an announcement until around October if the Fest is gonna be in August again.
