I went with RX. Just try to mount it so you can easily access the pet**** valve, but keep it away from anything you don't want to drop oil on.

Oh moderators **** ??? Really?

Holy crap. Drove my camaro to work for the first time this morning and wow what a difference the Cold Air Intake made!!!! At higher RPMs and especially WOT, the engine sounds like thunder! And I can definitely feel the difference!

Soooooooo happy with this mod!!!

WOT in the morning commute? guess you didn't have it in gear? Any time I try to have fun in my commute some "lawful good" in a minivan has to get in the way and spoil it all.

I tell ya tho, about 7k miles on the car now, it's good and broken in, and with the early mornings in the low 70s lately I've been turning the a/c off and doing my best to have fun. It's not bad!

Man the high 90s with the a/c blasting tho turns it into a DOG. I can't wait till we start seeing cooler temps, this thing will be a rocket even stock.

why'd you decide on the airaid intake? It seems like on here most people seem to think the CAI intake is the best?

I might when my warranty expires in 5 years or 100,000 miles.

Haha well I live about 15 miles from the interstate and then 55 miles into ATL. So I had some fun while I could.

Sounds like you must be enjoying yourself a lot more with that L99. Is it sport mode that's keeping it fun, or has it broken in completely and it's feeling stronger in auto too???
