I have a bunch of pictures on my Instagram @Max.i.s.cool of the process, but here's a few, hopefully they will upload.

Finally taking time to reading some build threads - your car and build is awesome and totally bad ass. I can appreciate a fellow wrench who knows how to push through frustration in a extensive and involved build and get the end result right, even though there are F-Ups and re-do's in the process. It's part of the Mod game. You may not be a "body man" but count your blessings - body work is maddening. I wish I could find a GFX set of Rockers like you did.

Appreciate that! I'm excited to see yours with some fresh paint! And I found a guy on eBay that sells hood struts at different lengths and pressures. Grabbed a couple ball studs from my local AutoZone. I had some left over steel strips and welded an L shape. I did have to cut a little of the hook that's near the windshield, I'll try to find some decent pictures. The green area I circled is a hook piece that I did have to cut a bit so the ball stud wouldn't hit it when I shut the hood. |

I'd like to redo them, to make them more aestheticly pleasing to me, but they're functional and soothe my OCD being two struts instead of just one on the strut tower

It is a process, suffer through it to reach the reward! And yes, body work is maddening. I can do a lot of things, but body work is one of those things that I just don't like. And I don't want to do enough to be good at it! LOL.

I get the OCD thing. The single strut has always bothered me too! Still trying to decide if I want to ditch it and do something like you did.

I love seeing other cars with Torqstorm superchargers. I love mine, and your setup is legit. Sorry to thread jack SlowLs1.

I'm leaning towards doing this. I'm still in the filling/sanding stage and would be easy enough to prepare for this. Just have to come up with a nice looking shock mount solution.
