Too bad about the intercooler, 3 pages of reading and I was getting stoked waiting for numbers, lol. Looks like we are all waiting with you!!

Can't wait to see this completed. Arkansas isn't all that far, might have to drive down and check this beast out in person!
How about I drive up one weekend and we take her to that little airport of yours?

One more thing. We've got the oiling issue close to fixed, but we just ran out of time. The previous shot didn't give me the restrictors for the turbos and I've lost count of how many Tracey had to make. We've got it close, but I think we are both tired of messing with it. It's not bad at all, but you still get some smoke when the turbos heat up real good (like at the track or on the dyno). Just driving around no real smoke now that we've burnt out what was in the pipes. When I get back I think I'll just order some from Performance and be done with it. I also have an idea for a sump that would make scavenging more effiecient, so I'll work on that when I get a chance.

You would not believe all the stuff Tracey had to make (flange for the BOV for example) that was very time consuming. If the other guys had not lost them, then we would have been done Saturday. Oh well, I should have done a better inventory before I left. Order some of the missing parts, but missed way too many. Thank goodness Tracey can do just about anything.

Oh she's working all right. It will take some time to tweak the tune. We started out with the one for the singles and it didn't work too well. He's having to redo a lot get things right. It would be fun to have a bunch of V6s out at a place like the air port. Of course, that all depends on Mrray setting it up (no pressure)! It's too bad Rod1 is so far away, I'd love to see that bad boy in person.

He's heading out shortly for the ride home...1,000 miles should be a good acid test for any issues.

Found a few things out about the crankcase ventalation system on the V6 that are critical to mod for any FI build. This thing is awesome!!

I have heard of some thing to help with this. My friend(who built a LS1 RX7 at 16) told me, that attaching a vacuum pump to the crank case might help with the oil problems, and he also said that it might add like 5-10HP at the crank. i don't really know if this would help. but when we put together my kit, he seems to think i should do it.

Back home and even took a nap. Trip was pretty uneventful once I got out of the storms that had rolled in. Ran very well and the last minute changes Tracey made helped with the oiling issue a lot. We may need to go down a little smaller on the restrictors and make a few changes to the scavanging system (I had lots of time to think), but all and all she seems to be rock solid.

The power band on this thing is sweet. Right before I left we took it to a private road where he does his street tuning and opened her up a few times. Once it hits 3500 in 1st it just pushes you against the seats harder and harder. You can't even fill the shifts because its accelerating and a greater pace all the time (we only took it up to the top of third). I expected more drop off than we got, but definitely could not feel it. Once we get the 6 psi tune worked out she'll be aswome. Then it's on to 7.5 psi...

Did notice a drop in fuel economy (and no, I used cruise most of the time so my foot wasn't in it). Watching the wide-band it looks like the 4.5 psi tune is still a little fat down low. I'm guessing a tweak to that will give her some more low-end torque (not that you don't feel it now) and get the fuel economy back. Still getting about 27.3 mpg on a 350+ RWHP vehicle ain't bad in my opinion.

Are you going to be at this thing in Hot Springs Village this weekend? It will be at Woodlands Auditorium and they finish some time Sat. SixJak will be there with all six of their cars. Love to see that IBM RS of yours.

No I bet not. Sounds like you are definately going to be ready for the marthon. I'm not doing it this year. Just to many demands at work (and playing with the car) to train. Haven't done much of anything since my bike wreck in July. Need to get back at it.
