Ho hum, I looked at the SRT8's before I got my 2010 1SS. with the gas guzzler tax, it came in at $45,000.00. My 1SS with it's options was $33,000.00. 1SS with polished wheels, Boston Accoustics, A-6 and gauge 4 pack.
Not to mention the fact that Chrysler products are pieces of sh!t, I've owned a couple.

A funny thing is all 3 of these cars (stang,camaro ss,challenger) lose in a straight line to the MITZU EVO.
The Challenger still looks the best.

And some people have gotten the SS to run 12.50's, is that the norm around here????? I have never worried about being smoked by an R/T at any track I've been to and have taken down the almighty SRT-8 on numerous occasions.

Yeah, I've done research and have found a bunch of mopar guys talk about how the R/T can compete with the SS but have never come across any proof. I spend a good amount of time at the track and have never witnessed a stock or mildly modified modern mopar run in the 12's, SRT or R/T. I have witnessed 3 SS' do that.

0-30 isn't a race ...

Where do you get the idea that a ~300 hp Evo is faster than those three cars?

umm watch the latest episode of TOP GEAR
it's the evo 8 420 and it's still fugly but fast.
it will out run any of them from 0-60. just shows you can make any car fast for pretty cheap.
4 doors and faster off the line than cts-v
SPEED ISN'T EVERYTHING.

That version of the Evo is not available here and never will be, seems like it had 400+ HP, we only get 300 and any of the V8 ponies are quicker.

I would hope so its AWD, no spin. The 3 pony cars are RWD and w/ out a good prepped track and the nannies turned off they lay copious amounts of tire smoke, and while impressive doesn`t make for a great 0-60mph.

What does it run in the 1/4? Not to many races at the track are 0-60mph.
