Right now it is setup on lower boost and is only doing 800+rwhp. Once we get everything right with the setup then we will crank the boost and have some really big numbers and much lower track times.

cool is that 800 through the 4l80? Im guessing that car is well over 4200 lbs with all the mods and the lsx motor.

Brief Comments: I asked Andy to quietly execute this build, in the off hours and weekends, with the intention of building the ultimate sleeper for the LSX Event in Indianapolis, Indiana. Not only did Andy accommodate my eccentricities, he did a phenomenal job. The car looks stock. The car drives stock. The car idles smooth. The sound is perfect - quiet but throaty at idle, scary and awesome at WOT. The car is perfect. The car has been in two car shows since the build, and took best in class both times. And, the car averaged 14.8 mpg driving to the track last night, running at 2200 rpm in 6th gear at about 65mph, and ran the best times of the cars life when I got there. Be careful what you ask for, when you pull up along side the EVIL RS. This car is now the ultimate sleeper.

ADM PERFORMANCE ROCKS! Andy Mages is a master craftsman and engineer.
Absolutely awesome man!!! Been wondering where you`ve been hiding!

That was done back in May of 2010. The fastest pass to date all motor by a 5th gen is 10.04@136.

How are you going to prove that this was a track error? Easy answer...you can't! The reason why Jim has not responded to your attacks claiming he was misled and ignorant about his car, is because he is a class-act guy. He doesn't need to prove anything to anyone. He bought his car new, does a lot of cosmetic improvements, and joined us at pony wars for a good time. We had to twist his arm to run it down the track. He could care less if he is on this list. We encouraged him to post it here, because nothing proved that it wasn't for real.

The car is BONE stock. It has the factory air cleaner, and everything else performance-wise from the factory. It still has the annoying AFM.

I did not want to believe this pass was real either. We tried very hard to come up with a plausible fault, but we couldn't, nor could the track. They stood by that time. He made only a few passes, and I remember that they were all over the place, as would be expected from a beginner. He said that the car ran like a bat out of hell on only that pass, and could not explain why.

If someone can point out a reason that this pass was not legit, then let's hear it. Please just don't pretend that you know for fact that it was an error. With this track being 5 hours from home, I don't see more passes in the near future. As I said, he doesn't care if it gets put on the list, but I'm not sure every other post has been scrutinized as much as this one.

I was not attacking. I think anyone who reports such a run can expect scrutiny. That is not attacking, Everyone wants to know how such a thing could have happened.

Anyone who has track time knows that you don't "accidentally" run 1.5 seconds better than your best and your other runs, or 3/10th's better than the fastest car in late winter on a forum with thousands of members, and hundreds who follow this list.

All you have to say, or he has to say, or anyone else who was there has to say, to satisfy our scrutiny is: what were his other runs? I have been told by multiple people that they were not out of the 14's.

That's all you have to do to prove me wrong: post another slip.

It's not too much to ask and if you feel "attacked" then you're being a tad too sensitive. Most people would have just hoisted the BS flag and laughed at him. We've given him plenty of chances to do *something* to satisfy our scruity.

First off, others that were at the track that day have stated that his (12.5)was not representative of what his car was able to run that day.

So to be fair and to validate the time, all l I ask is that he produce other time slips from that day. We can easily match 60' times, 1/8 mile, and 1/4 mile from his other time slips and determine if his car was capable of running that fast (even if his other times are all over the place as you mentioned).

His corrected time would have been 12.4 @ 110 mph. Due to his time being significantly faster than average or what would be expected in those conditons along with reports from people at the track that day, some additional evidence of the run is needed.

He also reported in a different thread that he had a video of that run. He even mentioned posting it. That video could also help validate the run. We could see how his car matched up to the car in the lane next to him that ran low 13s on the same time slip.

If he doesn't care to be on the list, thats fine. But it wouldn't take much effort for him to just post his other time slips and that video.
I really wish he would post this information.

I also sent him a P.M. the day he posted the time slip. He never replied to my P.M. If he would like to just P.M. me the information to keep it private, that would be fine with me. I would love to be able to validate the run. But I just need a little additional information.

Please included a detailed list of all your mods so I could put you on the appropriate list. Also LS3 or L99?

Thanks.
