Anyone else have their 1LE on hold at the factory. Built on 9/12 but still showing in production so I would have to assume parts shortage for 1 LE builds?

We have a 2SS convertible built on 9/11 that is still at the lot on Willow waiting to be shipped. Not a 1LE but it did get stripes installed at the place the 1LEs get their hood wraps. 1LEs and cars with stripes have always taken longer to ship to our dealership.

I placed an order a few months back and never heard from the dealer. I contacted them asking for a refund for my initial deposit and was told they actually did order the vehicle and it was in the process of being built. Last I checked it was at 3800 status but shipping is marked as 'delayed'. It is a 1LE.

Just received a call from the dealer in UT that my ‘24 Black ZL1/M6 I put a deposit on just arrived at the rail yard in SLC. I should know tonight or first thing in morning if my order I have here in CA for my Summit White one gets picked up by GM. If it does I will release the one I have the deposit on in UT. If someone is interested in it PM me and I’ll keep you informed and put you in touch with my contacts in UT. Details on it are ‘24, ZL1, M6, Black, Exposed Carbon Fiber Hood Insert, Red Seat Belts and PDR. Price is straight MSRP no markups or dealer add Ons. They will NOT ship for you even if you pay so you would either have to fly out and drive it home or meet the carrier yourself to have loaded.

That’s really cool of you to offer up whichever order of yours you let go of. These things are slim pickings these days and tomorrow is the big day (for coupes, at least).

Anybody that doesn’t get a call tomorrow, 10/19, from their dealer, means their order didn’t get picked up and never will. Then it’ll be a mad grab for whatever remains in inventory.

It is ironic that GM chose to end production on 12/7/23 because that is the anniversary of Pearl Harbor.

Yeah, the Coupe ends on 12/7 Pearl Harbor Day and the Convertible ends on 11/22 Kennedy's assassination date.

Talked to Dealer today, didn’t get an allocation for the ZL1 coupe I ordered in July but did get one for vert in riptide blue that’s already built. Bought it.

I just found out today that my order for a 2024 Riptide Blue 2SS 1LE 6M is in 3000 status with a listed 11/20 build date. I was just about to cancel my order thinking there was no chance it would get picked up. Hoping to have it in hand by year end.

Happy for ya but I'd be a bit miffed at the dealer. They got that allocation on the 19th and didn't call you? Jerks.
