Finally after getting my car off of my QuickJack lift after repairing the damage and installing all of the various carbon fiber pieces and parts I gave the car a good wash and installed the TruFiber carbon fiber radiator cover and extensions late Friday evening. It looks really good, IMO!

It weighs something like 2lbs versus the steel plate that it replaced which weighed significantly more! I did a quick install video on it for anyone interested:

Saturday I hit up a local cars and coffee that was pretty laid back which is nice AND not super early in the morning like so many seem to be.

Walked by the empty spot in the garage again. At the shop 5 of the last 8 weeks. Getting pissed off.

Today I installed the front and rear sets of the ZL1 Addons rock guards. Car only has 32 miles on it and have only driven it from the dealership to home. Looking forward to Spring!!

Today I did the diff fluid flush. I waited a little longer than I wanted to but it's done. I didn't push the car super hard. I found out my ramps are a little too narrow. I needed to get new ones anyways because they are unusable for the front wheels with how low the car is with the 1le lip. I did the oil change on Sunday. I love how I don't have to take off any annoying under tray to do this work.

My last two cars were covered in trays underneath and it was a pain to do the oil. The biggest issue is of the 2 funnel's I had, one just didn't work, and the other was super slow. It took like 1.5 minutes per quart. I have also conceded the battle to pollen. I can't wash the car every day, it's not feasible haha. I'm moving soon and I will have a garage which will help. I'm also getting the car ceramic coated in about 2 or 3 months which will also help with being able to maintain the car.

Get you a set of Race Ramps. They work great for low vehicles (and other vehicles as well). Mine are the 67 inch two piece versions and are 14 inches wide. The Camaro is relatively easy to service compared to many other cars.

Getting rid of the pollen is a lost cause for the next month or so.

I feel your pain... went by the shop yesterday and my engine is out and in pieces...but being put back together with forged internals, heads, and whipple. They were waiting on the heads and johnson lifters that came in on Monday. Hopefully next week it will be ready for the break in period again...

+1 on the race ramps too. "Get you a set of Race Ramps."- great to have around for basic maintenance and exhaust installs if you don't have a lift.

I actually uncovered mine and started it for the first time since October. Pulled it out of the garage and let it run for a while. Called insurance agent and told them to put full coverage back on starting April 1st.
