Mine is installed in the dash, but the dash is still laying on the shop floor. I figured it would be a good time to run all the other wires I need to run for the additional mods I'm doing. I'm also changing out the entire BA stereo system. I hope to get it all back in later this week. It all depends on how busy we are at work. Got to pay the bills first, you know!

Just an update for those still on the fence, had a 2011 2SS owner look at the HUD in my 2010, basically could tell no difference.

I still plan on doing the install... just waiting for Spring or the snowmobiling season to be over. I'm too busy cleaning snow and snowmobiling this winter....

well, the one screw into the inner dash impact absorption pad, just behind the hole we cut to put the hud switch in. effin pita, if you dont know its there.

I will be using Ofer's harness here in the NE

Also traveling to FL for installs

Ofer and myself completed the first HUD installs in late November

You forgot about Me, Ofer and I did the First two out here in AZ/CA. Ofer's car a 2SS on Friday and then my car a 2LT/RS on Saturday.

GM OK if you have a 1SS 1LT or LS you need to tell me and ad $10 to the any harness from here on out, Gm has two diffident main dash harness.

So where i connect to the 4 pack gauges dos not work for the HUD i now need to split that in to 2 plug and play connects.

ok, I am starting the HUD install... center console removed. . . at what point does the steering wheel have to come out? I don't have a puller right now.

What I am worried the most about is cutting the dash for the HUD. . . has anyone F-ed this up yet?

10 min after you remove the battery leads, and not before, Its up to you the order you do it, but if you have a A6 the center console is the first thing, 1 more thing you do have a 2AA or 2LT right?
