I'm using stock heads with a BTR stage 2 cam and comp springs. It's enough to make over 800 with an auto. Not sure you need better heads unless you want to go crazy. Mast makes a great head for either 4 or six bolt heads.

Stock heads would be fine for ~1000rwhp. If you are going past that just about any solid 6 bolt head will work. PRC, Mast, All pro, etc.

Lots of heads would be ok to run. Target rpm range, cam specs, boost levels, fuel type, intended use of car, etc all play a part to selecting heads. The biggest is the cam/head combo creating enough torque for our cars. With a 3300lbs vette you may want lots of high rpm hp, our camaros need more torque.

Unreal is on track. When the horsepower gets over 1000 it gets very difficult to keep the head bolted down tight enough to keep the gasket integrity. I think you can get away with a lot in drag racing because at this power level you only have 9 or 10 seconds of throttle but if you try to run other longer events you need to invest in a 6 bolt head.
