TBSS coming out of the long sleep tomorrow.

Good to hear it's over 500 RWHP , so I wonder what the real #s are

BTW, I returned the the Torq 55 gpm SC coolant pump since the bracket alone would not fit without really chopping things up... however Lingenfelter was already working on an upgrade for the CTSV and ZL1 which they benchmarked against Meziere's 20 gpm and 55 gpm pumps. LPE's flows faster, 1/3 the size, and 1/2 the costs! Plus they built in an option into the harness for a Pre-circulation and Post-circulation module that's in the works. Nice easy install.

There are are few that know.

Keep me updated on that pump. My rear tank chiller was a fail.

Looking for a new setup.

Nothing that can't be derived by punching some numbers into a speed calculator...and it will be above 500.

What failed..... was the initial AC cool #s not enough to make it through the 1/4 mile, or AC short cycling?

The whole idea! I was fighting the rear tank chiller and had to walk away for a bit. There was a second guy working on one at the same time. After shipping the car to the chiller guy, they had to ditch the idea and go to a front mount setup.

The IC pump I'm running sounds like a small plane ready for take off and my truck is LOUD!!!!!

I'm sure Garth will chime in some more. I know he has a rear cooler on his ride, but I don't remember if it was air cooled or if he ran coolant lines to it...I thought it was the latter.

Look into the Rule2000 pump. They flow great are only like 1 bill and you run them in the inter cooler tank. Very Quite. All you will here is water moving.

Rob, your thinking of the rear mounted transmission cooler that Mike at RMCR installed. Ross was trying to overcome the problem the "Chiller System" has. It cools fantastic (but wears out the AC system prematurely), and the AC turns off at WOT rpm that is changeable in the tune. The problem is, the Intake Air Temp #s at the end of the 1/4 mile are better with a rear mounted ice tank because of the extra capacity to make it through the 1/4. Instead of using ice, Ross would had the chiller Inside the would be "ice tank" - so in theory wouldn't need ice and would have just as good of 1/4 mile cooling capacity. For road use, the chiller beats everything hands down IF working correctly...... buy who is worried about IATs on the road???? I almost did the chiller, but too much drama between who made it and who was selling it...... and seemed plagued with problems except a few people. No one busting down the doors with enthusiasm except one V8 and one V6 guy. One of the 2 had to replace his AC compressor, and I heard of numerous people throwing in the towel or problems being blamed on the installer instead of the product.
