Opinions on the gills

I recently installed gill decals. Can I get your guys thoughts? With or without? I'm not entirely convinced they help. I'm leaning toward the clean look (no gills). The last four are photoshop'd to help compare.

I prefer the gradient gill decals to the solid black ones.

I'm leaving them off my SS. I believe most of the time "Less is more."

I think they look awesome, they actually make the non painted ground effects look better.

Leave them on, they look great. I have black ones on my BumbleBee and I think they really add to the look of the car.

Actually they are the gradient ones. Um.....I totally butchered the install though. You can see them below. I'm a little embarrassed to show them. I put them waaaaaaaay too far back into the gills. I was anxious to do them so I did them that night in the garage with crappy lighting rather than wait the next day. It also would have helped to look at a picture first to see the proper position. Anyway, that's why I'm asking. I don't know if it's worth reordering. By the way, the plan was to do the combo of two gills like so...

(in case you didn't already see that)

I've got the first set layin' on my dinning room table, waiting for the second set and gonna do a wet install. It is necessary to get the correct placement. And when placed correctly, they really do look good!

I'll have photos when i get done.

Edit: Awesome hood spears (best i've seen), rearviewmirrors, and rear spoiler!

Gills look good, just like in 69.

Keep'em. adds some contrast to side of the car.
