Parking assist for the Camaro

Does anyone know what kind of parking assist
the Camaro is getting and how it works?! I think this is a great option
to prevent little bumps and sratches from high curbs ect!!

its the little bumps on the back that make the stereo beep if you back too close to something

Are there any pics' of these sensors? I don't recall ever noticing any. I hope they integrate them into the lower black diffuser in the facia so they don't stand out.

If it's like most of the rest of the systems out there, the pitch will probably change as you get closer to the object. I know some cars have LEDs that go from green to red as you get close.

I seem to remember them saying that this wasn't going to be available at launch... dont hold me to that, but I believe the parking assist and HUD are both slotted for the 2011 model year.

Probably not, I think I read somewhere that they won't be available for a little while.
