New Z/28s for 45k?
I don't know this poster and I don't know if this is BS or not but if it is true that would be a hell of a buy. Might be worth a PM to him if you are considering.

...I say BS....sounds a little embellished by the poster....the big sale is over....at best those were 55-60 K at the time....If they were 45K I doubt they'd still have the 75K sticker on them as the poster said....

I didn't see anything at dealers around there. Why don't you just post a link if you know about it?

I see. There was only one Z/28 I saw at one of the dealers by that city, and it was not discounted, at least not online.

I would also like to state here that even though it seems to benefit the consumer, I never liked the idea of fire sale. If they could discount it that much, perhaps they should have priced it $65K to start with. Such official sales also erode the brand value, and damage the second hand market. After seeing this, would you want to spend MSRP on a next-gen Z/28? I would not.
Luxury brands are keeping a tight leash on pricing for a reason. I've heard that Cadillac also decided to go that route even if it costs sales in the short run.

Not to mention how GM protected the availability of parts for the Z/28 to "protect their investment"...Not much protection for an investment after this recent fire-sale. I'm hoping it won't be the last. |

Don't worry about the parts. It's next to impossible to make a real Z/28 out of parts anyway, but yes, no MSRP for me : )
