I prefer to think of them as more efficient turbos.

6000 miles... but why do you ask?

I was just curious. I figured it was pretty low. But I'll bet Bruce's is even lower.

Stopped by IPS yesterday and quickly checked your gage out. It looks really really nice! I wish I had started the gage project on mine last year...

Your car will be absolutely showstopper when it's all done.

With the stock engine, the 3586 is still what they recommend for higher hp cars. But because I'm putting in a bigger engine in my car, they're recommending the 3794.
3794's are performing extremely well in high end import builds. I think they will perform very well in "big" cube LS builds. I went ahead and upgraded mine as well. Damn, I just upgraded my 3582's to 3586. They never even came out of the box and now up to 3794's

Thanks. It added more than 3 months to my project to do the cage, but I'm happy with how it came out. I wish I'd known last fall that I was going to do the cage instead of waiting to decide. It would have saved me about 8 weeks.

That's what Jeff told me too. He says the physical size of the whole turbo is about the same as the 35s, so they should fit without issues. (famous last words!)

Been really busy...looks like a lot's going on. Not sure how big your plans are, but if you're shooting for the 9s you're gonna need padding on your cage. Just an FYI.

Yep. That's on the list.

Although, Mark C's Vette is in the 7s. He doesn't have padding on his cage and he told me that he has never had a problem at any track because of it.

Yea...enforcement definitely depends on the track. The new NHRA rule started last year. Just didn't want you to have to start taking things apart again.

Great choice on CGM for the cage as once it is completed you wont even notice it from the outside which is very cool when people do take a closer look inside and say WOW you have a full cage. AWESOME T, Im sure you are getting anxious as I am about getting these builds complete.

Thanks. I was going to go with black for the cage, but the guys at IPS suggested matching the body color. Once they showed me the Atomic Fusion Corvette (Mark C.'s car), I was convinced and decided to go with CGM on the cage.

Yeah, I am getting anxious to watch the car go together. Things should start moving along now. All the parts are at IPS and ready to be put together.
