Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

I've decided to get different coilovers for my car. However, I need a set of stock struts from an SS for the shop to use as a template. Unfortunately, I gave my stock struts to a friend for his V6. (That'll teach me to be nice!)

Anybody have a set of SS struts they'd be willing to part with cheap?

If I had mine still I'd send them out to you, but I think Mike Haddad still has them in his shop or he tossed them out. Sorry to hear about your big guy.

I was at IPS yesterday and have a few updates.

The new rear drilled and slotted rotors are in that match my front rotors and fit with the C5 brakes and 15" Weld wheels.

DSS carbon fiber driveshaft is in. You can also see the transmission bracket that Tom at IPS fabricated and includes the driveshaft loop.

Tom also had to do some fabrication work on the driver-side down pipe to get it to clear the shifter cable on the Turbo 400 transmission.

The new shifter is in (to me it looks like a weapon from a video game), but I couldn't get a picture of it because the car was up on a lift. I'll get a picture of it the next time I'm there.

The Big Stuff computer and associated electronics and harnesses have also arrived.

Tom still needs to fabricate my 3 1/2" exhaust (no mufflers).

I have decided to get Penske 2-way adjustable racing shocks. So, my Pfadt coilovers are now for sale (so, if you know anyone who wants a set...)
