Use this one with mine. Attached the base to the plastic rail just below the ebrake handle with small nuts and bolts.

While in the car, I keep my G23 in an Uncle Mikes(15) holster an place it in the cup holder. When I get out, it comes with me and into my MTAC. Never leave home with out it!

I love guns and have about 40 of them. That said, I've never felt a fear/need to carry one around with me all the time. But for those who do, and I am sure there are very valid reasons (occupation related or neighborhood related), wouldn't you already have it on you and not need an additional one holstered in the vehicle? Please don't take this as anti-gun commenting... as I love my revolvers and 1911's as much as does the next guy.

After seeing Blue Magic's idea I think I'll be moving it under the wheel. That's a great place.
I do the same thing, my glock fits perfectly. I also have a piece of black cloth that I cover it with, you cant see it with the window tint, especially at night.

Based on the abrasions, looks like you have drawn it a few times. You must live in LA or have one helluva commute lol!

My MAC 11 is a bit cumbersome to C.C that's why I use the inside my belt method no need for a holster plus when speeding in the Camaro for those drive bys I can draw down with it already sideways for ultimate bullet curving ballistics. 1911's are a slim gun but long depending on the barrel length you might be able to get away with a holster in between your seat and center console or fabricate a bracket to hold a OWB paddle holster under the seat.

I know the problem. I've also been on dates where I wished I had a gun handy.

Currently open carry of long guns only. Open carry of pistols has been approved but will go into affect next year for CCL holders only.
