Stopped in to check out the new Camaro - the dealer had a 1LT RS w/ Bluetooth package. It was the dealers demo car, but he's willing to sell it to me.

After a bit of back and forth he came out with $27,100 - roughly 1000 below MSRP - that seems like a good deal.

I wasn't planning on buying a new car, but my Passat Wagon is looking pretty lame these days. Why not stimulate the economy, right?

Take it?

Thats a great deal especially considering most dealers around me are selling 1LT with no rs package for 35k

if you don't have anything else your working towards and saving and you can afford the 500 bucks a month into your budget go for it

but wait for other more knowledgeable people to comment

If you like it and can afford it, BUY IT before someone else does.

Couple questions, has it been used for test drives at all? What color is it? Were you ever planning on even ordering a camaro?

It's victory red and has about 35 miles on it. (15 of which are from me)

Your dealer is NOT an idiot. Good to see there's a dealer out there that realizes over 100k plus of these things will get produced. Ug, saw some azzhat dealer on craigslist today asking 45k for their 2SS/RS.

As for the 1LT/RS...Assume it's an auto, so let it pass.

Sounds like a good deal to me......although it's the wrong color for me personally. If VR is your color why not drive it on home. I put my order in back in Dec and I'm number 60 at my dealer and it will be another month or so before I know if I go beyond 1100.
