Premium Audio?

My only tip is make sure you have a good drill, extra battery ready to go in case you need it, and have the proper drill bits, 13.5 I think, and new. It will make it a lot easier to get those things done properly.
I ended up having to manually file the holes larger, and ended up getting a new drill, the one i had was no good for drilling through the metal. The wiring was simple. With the battery in the back and the wires all right there, that part was easy.
Now my main issue is deciding how much bass i want and i still fiddle with the tones constantly.....just like I am always adjusting my power seat, doubt either of those things will ever change....
Premium Audio? Do you mean the BA 9 speaker system? Thanks.

13.55 mm drill bit? I own every bit made and there is no such thing. There is a 13.50 mm and a 17/32" but not a 13.55 mm. I'm not sure who to laugh at GM or MTX.

I pilot drilled the holes, then used a Unibit to get correct size. I really had to do a few revolutions, try to put the anchor in, then do a few more. Because I could not find a 13MM drill bit either.

Also this is the easiest sub system you will ever have to install. The directions are easy to follow, dont worry about them.

Thanks All. Great post. I would not have purchased without this post. I was thrown off by the directions at first glance. Once I took some time to read them and saw the picts Bryan2230 posted they made more sense - user error. Just waiting for it to show up now. Going to put the heritage grille in this weekend so I might need to play hookie one day next week to install the sub! Thanks Again.

It works on either sound system. For the BA it is plug and play. For the non BA you will have to take out some pins on the connectors and move them around and then plug in. All of the instructions to do so are included.

I would recommend the Factory Sub to anyone who doesn't utilize the whole trunk, ease of installation + sound quality = WORTH IT!
I am seriously considering this upgrade. The sound system and nav have been the main things I have missed after trading from a Challenger. I do have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to. What does pass through elimination mean? Are you talking about passing through the cabin to the trunk space? If that is all it won't bother me at all.

Yes that is what is eliminated, the ability to pass item though the trunk to the cabin area since the sub sits there blocking it. You can still drop the seats tho.

Cheers
