Water leak issue - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I recently moved from the dry Texas state to South Carolina. After a few heavy rains while I was at work, I noticed water collecting on the rug behind the passenger seat. I took it in to my local dealership here in Sumter, SC and they said they were unable to replicate the leak.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Do you have a sunroof? They are known to get the drain line sometime not installed right and it does not reach to the underside ofthe car like it should.

Have them check the drain line to see if they can see it sticking out under the car.

I'm in SC too. We had a huge storm yesterday and my back seat is wet
this morning. The floor is dry and trunk. It seems to have come from the
driver side back seat corner. The coats on my back seat are all wet. I am so bummed. I hate a car that has water issues. Owner since 6/09. Never had
a problem before. I drive to PA from SC in driving storms usually Beckly area.
This is new. Any advice?

Your cars were sitting while it rained or were you driving in the rain? Reason I ask is because the rear floor of my GTO got flooded in the back while driving. There is a TSB about it. If you two were driving during the rain I wonder if it's the same issue since the chassis are similar.
