I must be missing something--why in the hell am I seeing the dealers name on the rear of so many 5's? Correct me if I'm wrong, but that to me, is like some whacked--out jealous nutcase freak keying my SS with his STANG keys.

It's so when people see your car they're look "Ooooohhh look at it! Where do you get...ohhh, that's where!"

Just take it off with some floss or fishing line.

Just tell the dealer, "No advertising on the car." They won't put it on.

Why do the dealers do it, or why are the owners keeping them on there? If it's the latter, then yeah, that is just wrong to keep that on this beautiful car. All dealers do it unless you tell them not to, and even then they do it.

or request that they don't put it on. thats what i did and he said "no problem i totally understand." i said i will use a dealer license plate cover...for a while...

For all my 5th Gen Brothers and Sisters," Make that sh*& disappear!" If I wanted my car to be a billboard. I would have bought a Mustang. Hell, my grandfather and lil sister has one.

I tell them unless I am getting a monthly advertising fee, don't bother putting it on and remove it if its on there.

I sent my dealer a list of my requests which was in effect to not touch the car except for the PDI and to save everything. He said it would be all good in the hood.

To tel lthe truth if its a Tom Henry, or Berger or Yenko chevrolet they heck yea their names belong on those cars, Not only did they sell those cars but they also put time in to those cars & making them better.
