I am 24 and this is my 21st financed vehicle. I am not a rich boy by far, just self made. I grew up with getting evicted all the time, packing what I could in trash bags, living at shelters, having power and water cut (not usually at the same time)-baths with neighbors hose in the middle of the night for several months out of the year, almost never a house phone, sometimes 2-3 different schools in any given school year, and now make about 52k a year. Not all young guys are immature, spoon fed, rich boys with their parents funding them. I did me, and have a lot to show for it. All this is personal info most of my closest friends dont know, just thought it could be an eye opener for you guys that assume we are all reckless. I personally do not have any respect for those who where just "giving" these cars. When you see an older person with a really nice car you can appreciate how hard they must work to afford it, and how maybe one day that could be me. Little things like a sweet car, nice house, nice things period are reasons people strive to make more money and to get established. I know I look young, and people probably look at me thinking it was from "Daddy". If you are handed a sweet car like this...how could you possibly appreciate it the way the rest of us do. I personally worked 3 jobs to even be able to pay off my debt from a divorce and to allow my credit to build for another year and a half just to buy this car. I have been wanting this car ever since Transformers first showed it to me. I feel lucky to be able to pay payments on this car at 24. Sorry if I ranted a lil, just always have a problem with giving a powerfull and exspensive car to a person who probably doesnt even pay his own isurance let alone tickets. I guess I am a hater.

P.S. I have only got one ticket in my life, no wrecks, no fender benders, and dont park close to people to have to worry about dings.

Just turned 20, Been playing online poker for about 5 years now, It took me about 2 outta those 5, to get my ass kicked enough times to realize i needed to study, so over the past 3 years, i've been studying/grindin my ass off in poker, and finally have made enough to buy a camaro. I was specifically saving up for a 2010 2SS, and i figure i can finally buy it
I plan too buy it in 30-60 more days, and plan to buy a summit white/black 2ss/rs, I would play about 8 hours a day for a couple years now, and we'll great money for a teenager, and i have finally reached the money goal, to get the wonderful car. I'm driving around a 03 v6 mustang right now, nothing special, when i was 16 i put up all my money, which was about 4k at the time, and my dad/grandpa/grandma put in the other half, and got it used. Loved the car, but absolutley fell in LOVE with the 10' camaros. I cant wait to go test drive, and get it, and customize it a little, i specifically did not buy the v6, when i had enough, because i really wanted a V8, and even when i got enough for that, i knew i'd want to customize it, at least somewhat, so i kept, savin, and figure i finally have just about enough. Heh i know i'm off topic, but i dont have it yet, but i cant wait!!!! Also 4 years of driving, ALOTTT of driving.. 1 ticket, 0 accidents. Waited this long, but damn gotta wait at least 30 more days, due to personal life stuff goin on right now... Peace !!! - Scott |

I'm 19, currently own 2 cars a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee and my 2011 Camaro 2LT/RS. The Jeep was the car my mom would drive whenever we came back to the US for the summer, which has been in our family for 6 years now. That's what I drive daily, taking it to OSU with me. I leave my Camaro at my house in Cincinnati, since OSU isn't a safe environment for nice new cars. Being completely honest, my parents payed for my cars, insurance and gas. However, I only got my Camaro because I got a scholarship that pays off the car in just 2 years. This is the only reason why I got my Camaro. I've had people call me a rich spoiled kid, and while my parents are very well off, I wouldn't consider myself spoiled just better off. I don't take anything for granted, and study hard to keep my scholarship and make my parents proud. I'm currently majoring in Mechanical Engineering, and only 1 ticket last summer, an 88 in a 65. I just recently bought a Escort Passport 9500i, and hope to divert any other tickets from now on

I'm 20 and I've had my Camaro since Nov.12th 2009. I use to drive it everyday and I currently have about 8,275 miles on her. No dings, scratches, accidents, or tickets.

I'm 22 and I and I bought the 2010 Camaro 1LT when I just turned 21 without any tickets on my record. I bought it for $31194 cash. I have three speeding tickets on my record now and my insurance is $335 bucks a month. I'm glad I don't have a car payment otherwise it would be a huge issue. I'm in the stock market and option swing trade so money isn't a huge problem but to think... my insurance when I bought my Camaro last year was less than $150.. I wish I could get it back down that low again.
