Miami
Hey there guys. I am still waiting for my Aqua Blue Metallic 2SS. It is on the train, but has not left yet. When it gets here we can get together. How long does it take the railcars to reach Miami? How long did you wait? Thanks Tony

I really can't tell you how much I waited...
I place the order on March 12 and by June 04 I was already driving. I think I really was freak happy accident that I got my car so soon. It might have been because I was about to remove my order from the dealer. lol but... I can't wait to see your Aqua Blue... I was very tempted to get that color. |

I ordered on 4/15, car was built on 7/2 and was in Quality Control for 3 weeks due to the 6 speed manual tranny issues. It is on the train, probably waiting for the railcar to fill up. I finally saw a Aqua Blue Camaro the other day, it was an LT though. That color really sparkles. Can't wait to see it with the ground effects package on it and the RS wheels. I was going to order the Red Jewel color, but that matches my Corvette's color and did not want 2 cars the same color in my driveway. Once the train moves it should take 10 days or so the get here. I am getting antsy.

Sure I would like to go to your meetings. I am a member of the only Corvette Club in Miami Dade- Sunshine Corvette Club--We meet once a month and have a social event every month also. We usually cruise somewhere and have lunch and cruise back. What is the name of your club? Where do you all meet on Bird Road? While I am waiting for my Camaro, may as well meet some new car friends!! Thanks for the invitation. Just tell me more. Tony

It's called SSP for short of
http://www.speedstyleandperformance.com/ We meet every other Thursday. This week was the meet... so the next one we wouldn't meet and then again we would. Go ahead and make a screename in the forum. I actually went to a few meetings of the sunshine Corvette club back when I had my 02 Z06. I stopped going as I didn't really fit in... I was 23... most of the guys where a "bit" older. I am 29 now... lol... wow how time goes by. This car club is very family oriented and we are open to anyone that loves cars and its also mature enough. Anyway, I love to see you in the forum. Let me know what username you get in there. Since I had to activate your screen name. |

I haven't ordered a car yet, but plan on it hopefully within the next few months. What dealership in the Miami area did you guys use and were you able to pay sticker price? The only ones I have been to so far were asking for some pretty big markups. You guys should bring your cars to the Fuddruckers show the first Saturday of the month, at the corner of SW 104 st and US1.
