Exhaust banged up..... could these dents cause problems?

Ok, so the other night I ran over something that sounded like a shotgun when it hit my car. In fact it lifted the car enough to cause the stabilitrac to engage.

At first I thought the engine blew. It was loud, jolting and all of a sudden exhaust dump and an ungodly bad noise (turned out to be the heat shield trapped against the U-joint at the hanger bearing).

So anyway, not sure what I ran over but it was small enough to make it under my front fascia but hit the tranny fluid pan (luckily didn't go through) bounced it enough to have the tranny brace hit it and shatter and it played bouncy bounce from there. (happened so fast I only heard on noise and felt one jolt.

I was VERY lucky all things considering.

But the question I have.... Are these exhaust pipe dents big enough to restrict air flow enough to cause problems?

I have the supercharger pumping and the exhaust is 2.5"

I should be ok but it looks like some of your clamps are leaking I would take it to a muffler shop to fix them. those dents shouldnt cause any restriction

The dents shouldn't cause a problem. There not to big. Someone drop a cinder block on the road maybe?

Yup. It scraped the lower rubber piece underneath but that's it.

it wont cause any problems, but it gives you incentive to go 3" headers back. I ran into a worser problem in my old ls1. I hit a brick and it dented my headers (pm me for pics) alot worse than that. i dynoed afterwards and i diddnt lose any noticable HP #'s, however i would just sell that catback and get a new setup because that would bug the hell out of me knowing my shit isnt the way it should be.
