This item has more then likely been asked/brought up more than once and you are probably in the process of being flamed by a board member as you read this. i understand and i'm starting to use the search first when i have a question, but why does it matter? who cares if someone asks a question that's already been asked? don't read their post... the people that aren't jerks and don't "flame" will read it and answer politely and be helpful the ones that want to be jerks don't have to read it at all. it's not really hurting anyone here when something is posted twice... is it? i mean if it's causing someone physical harm then by all means get upset about it, but if not... who cares?

cus it creates more work for the mods. we try to minimize the number of repeat threads by merging or deleting them altogether. and it gets annoying as a mod and a regular member to see the exact same question posted multiple times a day. when all they had to do was a search instead of cluttering up the forum. granted, there's no reason to go off the deep end on someone because they ask the question, but it shows initiative on the OP's part when they do the search and try to find the answer themselves.
