For those cruising 95s to Savannah, the hotel info is listed. We have a group rate at the Hampton Inn Savannah North, 7050 Georgia Highway 21, Port Wentworth, GA 31407, Phone: (912) 966.2000, Fax: (912) 966.2001.

21 lodging rooms have been reserved for your guests for the night(s) of 04/15/2010 - 04/16/2010, at the special group rate of $60.00 for single or double occupancy. That rate is subject to tax of 13%. All reservations should be made by 04/08/2010. After this date, all remaining rooms will be returned to general inventory for sale at the prevailing rate. It is my understanding that reservations will be made individually. Guest can make reservations online at www.savannahnorth.hamptoninn.com, or by phone to 1-800-HAMPTON (800-426-7866) or through our in house reservations desk at (912)966-2000. Please be sure to have your guests reference the group code, when booking online or the group name, C5 Fest, when reserving by phone.

Rooms can be cancelled if needed up to 24 hours of checkin time. They have also stated they will communicate with local sherriff's department to get increased patrols around the hotel the night of our stay. I thought that was cool.




This is posted in another thread. People are starting to list rally points as they are cruising to the Camaro5Fest in April down in Adel Ga at the Southern Ga motorsports park. If you are planning to attend (even if not committed yet) and cruise with a caravan please post and I will attach your names.

I know we have a number of people in MD, DC, and Va who plan on going to the Camaro5Fest in April. I think it would be safe to start a location for those north of Fredericksburg. I think the entrance of Spotsylvania Mall in Fredericksburg would be a good meeting point for those north of exit 130B on 95south in Va.

Fredericksburg VA exit 130B off 95 southbound. Two lights on the left at Spotsylvania Mall in front of the main entrance. It has a large space for many cars. Meet between 9am and 10am. Depart Fredericksburg on Thursday@ 10am.

B...Emporia Va around 11:45am and 12pm if all is well on hwy.
C...interstate 95s and interstate 40 NC between 1:30pm and 1:45pm
D...interstate 95s and interstate 20 SC 3:15pm and 3:30pm Gas up and eat at Indigo Joes Sports Pub and Restraunt.
E...interstate 95S and interstate 26 SC 5:30pm and 5:45pm
F...Savannah Ga, get hotel and eat/socialize then sleep. 7:15pm and 7:45pm "Uncle Bubbas Oyster House"

Friday, depart Savannah Ga at 9AM to Valdosta.
Fla interstate 10W and interstate 295 beltway.

Drive to Savannah Ga, is 8 hours, and 4 to 5 hours to Valdosta GA.

Cool, that looks like a good rte for you coming down the blue ridge mountains as you are. This puts another 2.5 hours on the drive for us on the 95 side.
