Looks awesome. Will it be available without the JacFab logo across the top?

If you're talking about the JacFab logo on the top of the black plastic velocity stack / filter clamp piece, then no. It is built into the current mold for the piece. It is however fairly small and not extremely noticeable. It measures about 1.75" x 4"... Maybe less, I don't have one in front of me.

If you're talking about the lid, JacFab will not be on that, but rather the name of the intake (decided from the "Name That Intake!" contest) will be frosted onto the top of the lid. See page 2 or 3 for a rough illustration of what the lid may look like after it's finished.

I like the logo on the plastic velocity stack/filter clamp piece, just not on the lid.

I am not stuck on the lid being frosted with the logo... Another option would be that I could supply a vinyl sticker not applied to the lid, and the end user could stick it on the intake if they wanted to...

A question to those that are paying attention to this... I am debating eliminating the custom color option seeing as the only piece that can be powder coated since the announcement of the silicone intake tube is now just the box... Most of the box is covered by the velocity stack / filter clamp piece, so you would really only see the back of the box if you were looking at it from the cabin side of the hood, and about 1/4 " of the box from the front side. It's possible that you may not even be able to see the color on the inside of the box...

If the box was offered in just silver or black (and even at that, silver would not be seen much from the previously stated conditions), would it be a deal breaker if you could not get the box powder coated to match your car even if you can't see it? And at that, if the box only came in black because you wouldn't really see the silver, would you have a problem with that?

I have no problem keeping silver and black if there is enough interest, however, seeing as much of the box is not visable... Does color matter?

I'm fine with just black. That's what I would order anyways.

I would have liked silver, but if you can barely see it anyway, black is fine.

As an alternative to not having a silver powder coat finish, IF I decide to drop it, the box could possibly be available in bare aluminum.
