Nah, it's all good...I was only kidding around in my post and it wasn't meant to be taken mean. But yeah, I saw what you did and it was an easy $8 at HD. ...easy....

But...

I want to take off the hood and hook up some cameras on the b!tch. I want to see how it's popping out of place and back in and figure out exactly how that damn popping occurs.

The strut mount doesn't really float unless the car unloads the suspension as in airborne. I have to get with TAG this week and check out his noises.

I wonder if I can record my noises with the chassis ears.

Most have a headphone jack so the answer would be yes.

it sure sounds like a pile of junk when ya go a tiny too fast over a speed bump, also, if the interstate is being repaved, and you come across an area where the pavement drops to the next layer... again.. it just don't sound right...... i agree, it's something with the design

and yet, nobody here has figured out what is really causing the noise.
yeah, it could be this, or that, this or that...

has anyone... figured it out?

Sounds great to me.

I know the rear pinging sounds I'm hearing are due to the LCA's. That'll get fixed in no time once we weld in the new braces. Becky from Rodgers Chevrolet sent me the new upper upper spring mounts and before I went to put them in, the noise disappears. Needless to say, I was pretty floored when the noises stopped. And now? They're baaaack...lol

I'll call Glen tomorrow and see what he can do for us this week in a morning.

You have been upgraded. No welding required you get the super extreme over the top best of class bolt in brackets.

actually sounds as if the suspension is either topping out or bottoming out, even over small little pot holes or pavement that is being worked on, even an uneven sewer plate ...

hope someone figures it out...

here it is even the dealer has pulled many cars off the line..

and it does it.

well thats it for chasing ghosts ..turn your music up...i have changed everything
to upgrade and i was told some noises are gonna occur..

just get a safety note written....all is workiing fine...and you are safe..

lately i pull up to suspenioned stangs and challengers and they make noises too.

ignore it unlesss its real loud if its minor....and it always does it

thats normal.....again when the dealer shows any off the lot car doing the same..

you really can't fight city hall.

try it. My V did something i though was strange...they pulled a new one up
( after a full inspection of mine) and walla....same thing

i stopped worring.....same with spherical endlinks....they are noisey..
i have new co////and they make the same noise...
so it is the design/.

Mike at pedders is highly regarded..but if he can't pin it down...then
you really think a car dealer will????

NORMAL

i show no usnusual wear....and when i'm on it it handles superbly...

i can handle a tighter suspesion making some creeks.

unless you do the whole suspension its gonnna make some odd noises

i've checked everything and its all tight.
