Nuke's Black 1SS/RS M6

Obtained September 23rd, 2010. First mods done were changing the bowties to blue to instill a retro look. The look I am going for is a tasteful, subtle retro look. Basically, I am modernizing the classic "muscle car custom" look of the 60's and 70's with the cowl hood, torq-thrust wheels, and hurst shifter. But that's it... no needless chrome, no fake bumpers, etc. etc. Less is more for me.

Mod goals are as follows...

Appearance mods:
- MPD Cowl Induction Hood
- Hugger orange SLP Hockey stripes
- 'LS3' emblems in front of marker lights, 4-1/4" long, 3/4" tall
- Torq Thrust M’s, 20 inches, Anthracite
- Pfadt Lowering Springs
- 'Hurst-Equipped' badge to go on left side of trunk lid
- Inferno Orange interior trim panels
- Lloyd’s Floor Mats
- Blue bowties

Performance mods:
- Aftermarket Hurst short-throw shifter with T-handle knob
- Cherry Bomb Extreme Series catback exhaust
- 4-pack Gauges

Anything in green has already been bought and is awaiting installation. Here are pics of the car after the bowties have been switched out. It was my first official mod...

I'll keep you guys posted as the mods come in and go on!

Stripes/Emblems/Wheels

Within four weeks of getting the car, I've got the hockey stick stripes, the emblems, and the wheels on. Yeah, I don't f*ck around. I have a very specific look in mind and I stick to it.

Picture quality could be a lot better; sorry guys. :\ The stripes are SLP's Hugger Orange ones - I personally don't approve that my body shop didn't try to fold the decal into the fender/nose gaps like they're capable of doing since the stripes are one piece but I'll get over it. The emblems are custom made by Emblempros and they did a magnificent job. And the wheels, of course, are AR Torq Thrusts. Now I just need the hood and Eibach springs and I'm finished with the outside!

Question: They had to remove the TPMS sensor to put on the wheels and now my car is being bitchy - how much would it cost for the dealer to put in TPMS sensors?

Thanks, man! Back in March or April, I'm pretty sure I promised you pics of my car with Torq-Thrusts. It's so awesome to know I've kept my word.

You will love the hood I have had mine on for over 8 months if not more and it fits just as good today as it did when it was first on. What a hell of a hood. YOU want FIT you got it with Eric's hoods MPD1 takes the time to make sure it is right!! Don't look for the grill to look that way much longer the new heritage grill goes on soon waiting on gary to work his magic on it.
