I haven't looked over everything in this thread, but if you have a 14-15, I believe the tow hook provision is going to be in a different location than what Bald Eagle is working on. I think LeftCoast32 had different bars for the 10-13 and 14-15. Just ad a heads up so someone doesn't get one and the tow hook is way off. For the front anyways, believe the rear you just drill a hole in the same spot behind the license plate.

Ah shit. I thought they were fabbing up a tubular rear crash bar too. Damn.

I already have the RSM front crash bar.

Take me off the list if it's just for the front bar with a tow hook. My bad.

As of right now this bar would only be available for 10-13 SS cars and 12-15 Zl1 cars. I know that the 14-15 is different. I don't have a solution for that yet. I also belive that some of the 14-15 come with a provision for a tow hook from stock. you just gotta pull the cap off the bumper.

If this project is a success, which I believe it will be. RSM has told me that once we complete the front bar, they will begin working on a rear bar as well. You just gotta be patient because it may take awhile.

Cool, just wanted to make sure it was clarified as I saw ScottyD said he wanted one and his profile says a 14 1LE.
And I think the ones that came with it are Euro spec since it's required by their law. Maybe the Canada ones too. I know my 15 1LE and Z/28 did NOT have it there already.
Awesome that you're doing all this work for everyone here too!

No worries. I'm in no hurry. Keep us updated and I appreciate the work you're putting in!

Just to clarify for all interested parties, This front crash bar design will only work on 10-13 SS cars and we need to test and measure, but it should also fit 12-15 ZL1 cars. If I can find someone with a ZL1 who would be willing to perform a test fit for me, I will be able to give that person a discount for doing me a favor and test fitting. You will have to take pictures showing the fitment, and you would have to install the bar within a day or two of receiving it so that I can get a quick turnaround on it.

This project is still alive and well. Prototype should be finished early next week, I will test fit and then we will work out the quantity for the first order. Hold tight everyone! These projects take time!

Got the RSM bar fitted up. About 7lbs of weight savings over the stock crash bar. Requires a little plastic trimming of the bumper reinforcement plastic panel. Fit and finish is top notch. Going to send an approval email to RSM to get pricing and lead times.

I believe that RSM told me that they already had dimensions from the rear bar, for a parachute mount out of the license plate area, so that may be the direction we take on the rear bar once we make it that far. Currently working out pricing details and ETA, its a difficult time for large projects being that Black friday is approaching and alot of their production time is going into making stock for their own store.

I also apologize for how filthy my car is in these pictures. It is bug season here in the coutryside of Florida and it looks this bad after 1 or 2 drives into town.
