Exclamation Stranded at work 4th gen wont start

Guys and Girls i know that this is the 5th gen website but i am in need of some help.

Im at work for my 24hr shift and went outside to make sure my car was locked and everything and attempted to start it.

All i got was the normal lights and one loud click, not the same click associated with a dead battery. I tried the following so please let me know if you have any information to help.

Disconnected battery to insure good connection.
Checked Ignition and fuel pump relays as well as starter relay.
Attempted to tap starter but the car has been lowered prior to my ownership and i cant get under it at all. Tapped it from the top and still no results.

Rolled car backwards and slammed in park to try and make sure flywheel teeth were properly aligned and still nothing.

When i try to crank it there is only one loud click coming from underneath the car.

The instrument cluster is displaying- check gages, low oil and SES. Oil level is full and i believe its a bad sensor but doubt it would keep it from starting.

I live 50 miles away from my work and i get off at 8am so i need to try to figure it out before i go home. If its a bad starter theres nothing i can do really other than get it towed to the local dealership $$$$$$.

Please help and again sorry for the 4th gen problems i miss my 5th gen about now...

Thanks in advance
Tyler Moore

Sounds like maybe a starter problem.

its hard to do on a camaro but if you can crawl under the car and tap on the starter with a hammer while someone tries cranking it.

Well I guess you could try to jump start it if you have some buddies push you down the parking lot.

Use a jack to raise the front end, then bang on the starter.
