you might want to wait until they post the host hotel and we might get better rates once they let the hotels know that 500 or more camaro people are going to show up!

So are people going to leave on thurs, spend the night in el paso thurs, then get to Phoenix Friday? Oh and by the way, if you're from SA I-10 will take you straight to Phoenix.

Was debating either El Paso or Las Cruces as pit stop.

The logistics are going to be interesting.

I'm thinking the caravan should make a stop-off in New Mexico (Las Cruces, possibly) and then day two early morning we make the trek to Firebird in Chandler (Phoenix). That would give us plenty of time to get settled in at the hotel and get our party on. The whole trip will be on I-10.

Houston folks, how long does it take to get to San Antonio? Because San Antonio to El Paso is about 6-7 hours (depending on how fast you go and if any pit stops are needed). From El Paso to Las Cruces is what, maybe a 30-45 minute drive. Stop in El Paso for dinner and to catch the El Paso crew and then head to Las Cruces for the night? That's a heck of a lot of driving for the Houston crew the first day...

So y'all would probably leave Houston around what, 7 in the morning?

I'm just trying to figure out where we'll be between 11am and 1pm to stop and get lunch

Wherever we stop for lunch, we may want to call ahead and let them know they will probably want to shut down their whole restaurant for the day

We'll have to think about this one... My daughter is currently in EP, but that may change by April. But I could probably swing some free lodging in Phoenix with a good friend that is out there now. Just don't know how far they are from the venue...
