SA Caravan to C5Fest II (Check sticky for updates)

I have talked to a lady at the El Paso Convention and Visitors Bureau re: lodging for approx. 200 rooms and Camaros and food the night(s) we are there. I have a short list of hotels that can accomodate us. We need numbers though for her to be able to present this to those hotels and see who wants to cut us the best deal.

I need a list of persons going, so I can project some sort of number.

I will copy/paste this into the SA and Houston threads too since we all basically end up on the same road before El Paso. I am also waiting on a response from a MOD to make sure I am not stepping on any toes.

I think the intent of this thread was to get a head-count, so I think eventually the OP should be compiling all of the responses. If not, we can always have Doug re-do this thread with that as a goal

I know each of the threads has a list-keeper, but I will watch all the TX threads, as well as further east, for the head count on the totals. As previously stated, I am doing groundwork for the trip out for a possible stop in El Paso. I have PMs out to a few members trying to coordinate and confirm a few things. I am willing to coordinate a group rate for the trip from TX west, if necessary, just like the Admin and Mods are doing for the event.

we should try to get a list to whos going first, by the time when sponsors come out for the c5fest2 on hotels we could try and call if any available in el paso to see if they could give us a better rate, i live in el paso if you need for me to talk to a hotel supervisor in person let me know, pm me, any help let me know

I'll probably stay in Las Cruces anyway, as a friend of mine has already invited me to stay at his house... He will be joining us for the cruise to Firestone...
