I have no cats w/ my longtubes with magnaflow round(bullet style) mufflers and the "smell" of no cats is very noticeable, lol... my g/f hates it when we are stopped at a redlight or rail road crossing for an extended period of time, i've had V8s with no cats for years so I'm used to it by now...

Yea I will let you know. I get back in the evening of the 22nd. Can't decide if I want to head to kots of if I want to go home and watch the hawks.

I'm thinking I might do the adapter thing for now. Then maybe over winter pull the connector and have a off road pipe made to spec. That way I can swap back and forth if I want.

I'll probably just do the reducer but covering all my options. Reducer seems the cheapest.
I've been looking at headers and I had decided on Dyntech's until I realized that they didn't even include catless connection pipes with the headers and they want $370 extra for them. I thought they were the most bang for the buck until I found this out. By the time you buy the headers and cats, you have as much in them as ARH's and they don't have merge collectors or spikes. I don't know what they're thinking. I guess they think people will buy the headers and not realize how expensive the connections are until it's too late.
