Stupid Dealer Conversation - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Ok so I just called a local dealership to get information on a camaro I saw there (Getting a Camaro in March!!!!). I asked about the, as he said, "The Red one or the Black one?" The conversation went like this,

Me: Can you tell me a little about the trim levels?
Him: The red one is a 1LT and the Black one is just an LT
Me: You mean an LS?
Him: No, the black one is just an LT
Me: Well, Camaros come in LS,1LT,2LT,1SS,2SS
Him: No, Camaros come in LT,1LT,2LT,1SS,2SS, and one other trim level I cant think of. (15 seconds of awkward silence) OH yea! the 6th level is the one that comes with flames on it, we just sold one of those last month.
Me: (I was about to flame him) Well anyway...........

The convorsation went on to more of his stupidity but that was the best (worst) of the crop, thought I'd share.

if it were me.....and if this was the dealer you are going to or are doing business with....and I hope you know that salesmans name.......I would go directly to teh sales managers office to let him know what caliber of salesmen he is employing and the kind if CRAP they are spewing out to the public.

Haha that's GREAT! To top it off, The 1LT with RS package just had a "Price Drop" to 31k.....Never doing business with them.

EDIT: and Used with 8,000 miles

Yea i would have too, but it was on the phone, so i hung up as soon as i found out the bull crap price

Haha Seriously! I was calling to get a tiny piece of simple information on a car that he could potentially sell to me, if I don't know, he knew the BASIC information on won of the HOTTEST cars he will ever sell.
