I read this and just stopped and laughed,

The 2010 Camaro Synergy Special Edition is based on a Camaro 1LT, with a 3.6L direct injection V-6, paired with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The powertrain has become a benchmark for the segment by offering a combination of performance and efficiency: The V-6 delivers 304 horsepower and 273 lb.-ft. of torque, and returns up to 29 mpg on the highway."



A unique performance car?!?!!?
Ummm,....maybe John Fitzpatrick isn't up to date, but the SS versions are over 400 horses. And as far as being unique? What makes it unique, the color and the interior color changes?!?! Doesn't do anything for me at all.

Yes, I agree, they dont need incentive to push the SS, so this will power V6 sales. Doing the config on the website taking a base 1LT, and adding C&C package, black stripe package, and 19" wheels, it comes to MSRP of $26,680 for a manual 6 spd.

So for $110 more you get a spoiler and the special green color with interior inserts.

I think it sucks they couldnt add the ground FX and the high wing spoiler as shown at SEMA!!

Pure speculation, but I think they are using that color to try to boost sales with the younger generation. Average purchase age of Camaros so far is what?? 42 or something like that? My 20 year old likes the green. He said "it stands out", which really means it will get more attention. At 20, he has one thing on the brain :tweetz:


If attracting the youth is GMs goal, I think GM missed the mark on this one. The youth is nutz over this car already but it simply costs too much. Can't tell you how many of his friends have said that they can't wait till they can pick one up used for about 15K.

I think GM is going after the younger crowd with this one and those that want a Camaro and can't jump to the SS price. Maybe the ricer crowd also. Hope it sells, GM needs it to. Anyone know what kind of spoiler it has on it. Can't tell from the picture.

I like that GM is doing the limited colors. I wouldn't trade my SIM for this color, but I like the idea anyway. I think they are missing the boat by not including it on the SS though. But, I hope it does well during its run for the General.
