My 1st choice for a special edition is some homage to the Penske/Donahue Trans-Am Camaro. Maybe no race stickers, but blue with yellow accents of some sort on a performance-dedicated trim line would be superb. Imagine lightweight suspension parts, performance tires, high revving engine, manual transmission with a performance gearset. Hmm, I wonder if we might even be lucky enough to get an acid dipped body....OK probably not.

The decals make the car.

I guess you don't get the point of that Sunoco Camaro then.

I used to be Dragoneye...

I'd have to say he does, but doesn't like it all the same (sorry to steal the show EllwynX)...And I agree. It's nice...but the only things I want on my car is the 'Z28' badging, or 'SS' badging...and then the bowtie - so people know which company made a car better than theirs.
I think too many decals take away from a car...Even with that sunoco one. I'm completely honest when I say that I wouldn't have noticed the air dam if somebody here hadn't pointed it out...I was too busy looking at the stickers...:o |

That car was built to pay homage to the original Sunoco Camaros, some pictured below. How would they have done that by just having a plain blue Camaro in race trim? What about the Pace Car replicas? While I agree, a car on the street shouldn't be overdone with decals, there is a time and place for everything Keeping on topic, the gold bowtie on that 4th Gen looks hideous
