Yeah looks great. Been wanting to do mine for awhile. Was looking for the modular flooring that clicks in but after knowing a work shop having it done (4) years with traffic and wear it tends to wear and fade.

So thus the brush-on is a better option for sure

My 24' x 30' garage/shop is not that fancy, but it is functional. I do a lot of fabrication and welding, so I have not coated the floors (maybe someday).

It has a BBC 454+ .030" (460), pretty much a stock LS6 with 11.7 : 1 C.R., ran 11.71 ET at Albuquerque Dragway (10.90's at sea level).

Had a 69, started with a 406 blew it and built a 383 for it, I would have went the BB route but had all the parts on hand for the stroker. Nice set up sir.

It was, originally, a Marina Blue Super Sport with a SBC 350 and 4 speed. If I was smart, I would restore it back to original, but for right now, I am enjoying it like this.

Thought I'd revive this thread since I searched for it to respond to a Facebook post. It is a shame that some of the early pics have disappeared due to some photo bucket issues. I need to take some updated pics of our garage if this frigid weather ever passes.

Not as fancy as everyone else's, but it's mine....
One cool thing about my garage is the fact that it is a huge balcony/patio on top

reviving the thread

My wifey has kindly asked that I get all the toys out of the garage and let her park there. She has offered to build a shop for me to allow this Right now the engineer has it at 22x36' with upstairs loft/ storage. It will have the far end sectioned off as a separate room for paint/ woodwork/ etc so I don't have to worry about the cars.

What are some things I should plan ahead for?

4.25" floor @3000# rating for a lift.
I have a 30 gallon compressor- that should do
I don't ever foresee the need for seating/ entertaining (downstairs at least)
