Ok guys i need some questions answered, Our shop bought a 2011 2SS-RS W/ HUD however we removed the dash to have it leather wrapped, the upolstery shop burned to the ground along with our complete dash, door panels, rear side panel, and full center console.

Everything is being replaced by insurance and we have recieved everything so far...

However the question i have is how does the HUD actually wire up? i think there might have been part of the wiring on the dash that got burned up any comments??

I figured it out apparently on cars equipped with a HUD unit already there is a pigtail that goes from the oem harness to the HUD unit itself its a pigtail about 2 inches long

Where did you get that Hurst shift handle? Those are on the Hurst Camaros and I love the design. And how did you get your hands on a set of those pedal covers.

I tried to get a set from the G8 but they're discontinued and out of stock nationwide. I figured at least someone would have a few laying in a warehouse. I might try to get a set from Holden next. The handles are out yet because I haven't been able to find them anywhere. I hope they release them soon.

The handles are out... they're just hard to keep in stock because they keep selling out. Try some of the vendors on here that sell the Hurst Shifter. If they don't have it in stock maybe they can put you on the list for the next batch. Also, the black Delrin handle version should be out soon too.

BTW- I have all the parts and will be doing the HUD install hopefully this weekend if I have enough time.

I'm going to give it a go by myself (as you know I'm pretty good with interior dis-assembly and had most of this stuff (center console, wheel, etc.) off anyway at one point or other). Plus your harness makes this "plug and play" . I've read through this whole thread a few times and if I get stuck, I might give you a call.
