Alright I've got a question: I'm not ready to quite explain myself, so don't ask why yet...

BUT, do you think it's possible to install a hud immediately to the left of the stock location or is something in the way?

Also does anyone have any idea what size the display is in the unit? I'm talking about the actual LCD that's in there (I'm assuming it's LCD based on the black levels being total rubbish, which makes it NOT OLED or VFD.)

Can someone post some pictures of the unit taking it apart?

I saw one posted in this thread, but I'm wondering if there's any more.

Thanks

completed hud install

Completed my hud install.....well worth it. Love the outcome. I took a lot of time on my cuts and filing to the dash and I think it really paid off. Nice snug fit for the switch and hud trim. I wanted it to look factory installed. I had five hours into measuring and cutting to get it exact. I will have photo's soon. Without the hud it was hard to know how fast you were going, because of the steering wheel. I also like that you can monitor the blinkers, incase left on. I was going to change the windshield but it really isn't that bad, only slightly blurred. all connections at the ALDL can be made to see if it works before installing.
