I have that same intake and a 2011. My hose fit with no problems. Maybe they sent you a 2012 intake hose??? Not sure....but mine fit pretty good.

Yeah, I had that problem. Ran down to AutoZone and got a hose to fit.

No issues. I did have to lube up the inside of the hose with some butter to get it on, but it was smooth sailing after that.

It is made to fit real tight and may require some elbow grease and/or lubricant to get it on, but it should be the correct hose.

If the hose wasn't on quite as tight as it should be (and possibly not all air flowing through) would it cause a CEL?

But what I was wondering if there wasn't a 100% connection, say maybe a 90% connection of air going through the small hose. Would you get a CEL or no? Would there be any notice of performance loss? Anything you would be able to notice at all? Thanks. |

Got a new tube luckily they gave it to me for free but it's a good tight fit with no CELs thrown! Exhaust sounds amazing and the new purr from the engine is awesome!

Bill I just wanted to let you know that mine didn't come with any instructions as to how to put this thing together. It came with a cleaning instruction sheet. It nothing else. That plus the tube not fitting made me a little upset but it does sound and feel great. Not that it's your personal fault just thought if let ya know!

I had a similar issue with that hose. I got it on but I never was, and still aren't, sure if it is on as far as it should go. It doesn't go all the way up to the lip which makes me wonder if it should be in farther. I sprayed some lubed on it and pushed pretty hard tho I was worried about breaking the plastic hose so I didn't he man it. At idle it stays between 500-750 rpms and I wonder if that little extra could be cuased by this tho I have a bunch of other mods too so I can't say for sure.
