M6 V6/V8 rear end, whats the difference?
I was under the impression that all the limited slip rear ends were the same, aside from gears. Am I wrong?

v8 and v6 rear diff's are different, the v8 has a larger ring and pinion, larger posi unit, and has more axle splines than the v6 unit, housing is different also

Your sizes are correct but according to the catalog the only car to use the 195mm diff is cars equipped with the MYB transmission. MYB is the designation for the 6L50E. So V6 manuals get the larger diff too.(again thats according to my catalog)
