Giant Camaro Ad at Cellular Field in Chicago for White Sox Opening Day - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I was fortunate enough to attend the opening day game at U.S. Cellular Field yesterday between the Chicago White Sox and the Cleveland Indians and the first thing I noticed when I walked into the park was this huge Camaro ad in right field. It is interesting to note that the stripes do not stop at the end of the hood, they go onto the front fascia and there also seems to be white surrounding the outside of the black stripes. Any thoughts? Do you think this is a screw up at the ad agency? Is it a picture of a 2011 Camaro? By the way, I love the tagline!!!

Stripes made to match the Sox colors would be my guess

I don't think thats the 2011 camaro but it looks like the colors for the Chicago Blackhawks... Interesting.

Shouldnt they have done a white car with black stripes or a white one with black stripes? It is the White Sox's stadium.

Sweet billboard. It almost looks like the Blackhawks one that's being given away.

Not really... Its got the Hockey's, the solid hood stripe, not ralleys, no RS package and hawks logos all over!

Designer probably intended the stripes to mimic the Sox uniform... I would've done it

I meant based on colors, and it's in Chicago, not literally.

Why did GM use a non-OEM stripe package when GM offers a similar stripe package worthy of advertising?
