MyLink coming to a 2013 Camaro!

I agree, like they just stretched a spot in the dash to shove it in, I dont think its for me.....

they should of dropped the tuner knobs at least, and probably dropped the temp knobs and made the temp controls part of a bigger touch screen. I agree with a couple past posters, they could of simply looked at Cadillac to see how its done....

it is like they did a rush job at the last minute to get a screen i, any screen so long as it was touch, to shut up the complainers about not having one, not out of any real motive to provide a quality piece of equipment......

I'd be happy to just get the frame and install a pioneer. Looks better than the scosche or metra.

Is this an option or standard?

If it was standard would be a primary reason not to buy a Camaro for me. I didnt buy a muscle car to have a 7" tv in the dash full of gimmicky touchscreen. 25 and I HATE touchscreens, no tactile feel and you just are ballparking the spot you hit on the screen... Only cars to do it right are the ones where they hide away.

It's a good thing you don't have to actually use the touchscreen then.

All options can be managed through your steering wheel where the tactile fiends are welcome.

It is being worked on by 2SSRS (Ofer). You can check on it on the DIY thread. He has done a lot of work on this and we should see some good things, all we have to do is be patient.

Hello Camaro world. I have been searching everywhere for a mylink deck to install in my 2LS camaro. Does anyone know where I can purchase one? new or used. I have had no luck finding one.

The MyLink head unit won't work in your Camaro. Your BCM (Body Control Model) won't support it. Don't waste your time or money. Install an aftermarket head unit via the Scosche GM5201B or the Metra 99-3010S dash kit. The sound quality will be 10x better. I removed my MyLink and all of the stock speakers (sold them on eBay). My system thumps now and is loud and clear...plus I retained all of my factory warning chimes, factory back-up camera, and back-up sensors. I can watch DVD's in my car and the aftermarket navigation is better. I also have Bluetooth and Sirius/XM satellite radio.
